OUR SALE POLICY

-Our tag sales are cash only

-All sales are final! That means no refunds. Everything is sold as-is. Check items before purchasing.

-All prices are firm until the second day of a two day sale, and in the afternoon on a one day sale. We do not reduce everything to 50% off right away. Let us know what your interested in and we will negotiate a price with you up to 40% off, around noon we will go to 50% off, and maybe more later. As the day goes on we reduce more. If we have anything left at the very end of a sale, you may be able to purchase it at a very deep discount.

-We provide a bid box where you can place written bids on items. On two day sales we will call you on Saturday night or Sunday morning to notify you if you are the high bidder. We expect you to purchase the item if you are the high bidder! You will be given the first hour of the last day of the sale to pay for the item. You may pick up the item then, or later in the day before we close.

-We don't pre-sale! You are assured to have first pick of items in the estate if you are there the first morning of the sale.

-We give out line numbers when we arrive the day of the sale. Usually that is 45 minutes to 1 hour before the sale. We will also limit the number of people at times who can enter to prevent overcrowding regardless of weather conditions.

-We expect you to purchase the item if you pull a price tag, or carry around an item at the beginning of the sale. We prefer that you place the item at the pay station, (or give it to another worker to hold for you) and tell the clerk that you want the item. They will keep it for you until you are ready to leave.

-Our sales are advertised in the Friday Post-Dispatch the week of the sale under "Estate Sales", on EstateSales.net, on Craig's List and other web sites. We usually have sale information with pictures on this web site a week before the sale.

-Children must be attended to at all times at our sales.

-Dorothy Schaffer Estate Sales is not responsible for any accidents that may occur on site. You enter the sale at your own risk.

-Thieves will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (after we get done with them) with no second chance!

-We have fun and enjoy meeting all of you at our sales and hope you have as much fun as we do.

Thank you, and happy treasure hunting!
